Bottom Brackets

CeramicSpeed PF4630
$359.00
This bottom bracket is when you have a PF30, BBright, or 386EVO shell frame and want to install a BB30 crankset into the frame. All have a 46mm inner diameter and smooth insides, though the widths vary from 68mm to 86mm. The crank has a 30mm diameter spindle. This bottom bracket features nearly zero loss of power due to friction, thanks to the bearings. Either our Standard or Coated Bearings. Both have super round, super smooth CeramicSpeed balls rolling on hardened-steel races. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making them even harder and smoother, resulting in longer life and lower drag. They come installed in cups.
CeramicSpeed BBright Shimano
$359.00
BBright is the Cervélo bottom bracket standard, found on most of their frames, save the P5. In order to fit Shimano and FSA cranks into this oversized shell, this bottom bracket, complete with CeramicSpeed Bearings, needs to be pressed in. The BBright bottom bracket comes with either CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings installed. Super smooth, super round CeramicSpeed Balls contained in hardened-steel races are found on both versions. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making it even smoother and harder, resulting in lower drag and longer life.
CeramicSpeed BB86 for Shimano
$359.00
Shimano cranks fit into BB86 frames when you have this CeramicSpeed Bottom Bracket installed. The kit consists of two cups that are pressed into either side of the central opening. The cups come with CeramicSpeed Bearings installed. There are two versions. The first is our low drag, long life Standard Bearing, with hardened-steel races and our super round CeramicSpeed Balls. The second version is our coated bearing, which uses those same CeramicSpeed Balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.
CeramicSpeed BB90 Trek Shimano
$319.00
BB90 is the Trek oversized bottom bracket standard and is only found on Trek road bikes. The shell is 90.5mm wide and is designed to work with 24mm spindles and road cranks and have the bearings inside the shell. The CeramicSpeed Bearings come as two bearings, which are then pressed into the frame. Those two bearings consist of either CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings. Both feature super smooth, super round CeramicSpeed Balls contained in hardened-steel races. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making it even smoother and harder, resulting in lower drag and longer life.
CeramicSpeed BB30 Shimano Road
$359.00
The BB30 standard opened up design possibilities for frames. Adapting it for Shimano cranks takes a special machined aluminum threaded bottom bracket that threads into itself. Ours are finished with CeramicSpeed Bearings. You have two choices in terms of bearings. The first choice is our low drag, long life standard bearing, with hardened-steel races and our super round CeramicSpeed Balls. The second choice is our coated bearing, which uses those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.
CeramicSpeed BSA30
$359.00
BSA comes from British Standard Cycle, aka English threading. English threading on road bikes mean a 68mm wide, 34mm inside diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It’s the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit allows you to fit 30mm thru-axle cranks, like those from Rotor, to fit in the tight space of this 34mm spindle. Choose between two bearings for the cups. Standard Bearings have low drag thanks to hardened-steel races and our CeramicSpeed Balls. Coated Bearings have those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.
CeramicSpeed BB30 Road and MTB
$339.00
The BB30 bottom bracket allows you to pair 30mm spindle cranks to 42mm inner diameter bottom bracket shells. Cannondale pioneered this standard along with specially-designed cranks and many have found the benefits to them. Road versions have a 68mm width, MTB has 73mm. These are also the bearings you can use to replace bearings in PF30 cups. You have two bearing choices. The first choice is our low drag, long life Standard Bearing, with hardened-steel races and our super round CeramicSpeed balls. The second choice is our Coated Bearing, which uses those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.
CeramicSpeed T4730
$359.00
T47 is a standard created by custom frame builders. It’s threaded, has an inner diameter of 47mm, and is either 68mm or 86mm wide. It has the design benefits of being oversized and wide, but also the practical benefits of threads. This kit pairs those bb’s with 30mm spindle cranks. The cups have CeramicSpeed bearings pressed in. There are two bearing options. The Standard Bearing has CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The Coated Bearing has the same balls running on a 3-micron thick coating placed on top of those hardened-steel races for greater durability and less friction still. This BB is compatible with both 68mm and 86mm frames.
CeramicSpeed T47 for Shimano
$359.00
T47 is a newer bottom bracket shell design, utilizing the oversized interface of PF30 and EVO386, but with the benefit and peace of mind of a threaded interface. This bottom bracket allows you to install Shimano and other 24mm diameter thru-axle cranks into a T47 shell. It's compatible with 86mm wide frames. There are 2 versions: Standard and Coated Bearings. CeramicSpeed Bearings come installed in cups and are connected through the shell. Both have super round CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings have an additional attribute: a 3-micron thick metallic layer over the races. This addition makes the races harder and smoother, lowering drag and increasing life.
